The American Cancer Society family center in NYC is ready for Reiki volunteers again.
The ACS Hope Lodge Network provides free, home-like accommodations and activities for cancer patients and their caregivers who have to travel for treatment.
Volunteers have the wonderful opportunity to be part of a nurturing community through Reiki healing.

Each session runs 30 minutes per patient, 2 max sessions ( 1 hour) per evening Monday thru Friday. There are two beds available to be used at one time ( clean sheets and pillows provided) and the room capacity allows 4 Reiki volunteers. Volunteers may provide their own supplies such as tissues, music, etc.
